I need to make the cute little cupcakes with a golf ball on top of them as many have done here on CC. I don't think I'm going to get my golfball candy mold in time to use it. Any ideas of how I can make the golf balls without a mold?

just roll a little ball and for indentations use the end of a paintbrush or a ball tool .

You could just roll the ball and then slice in two. And then you can poke holes in it and you will have two. I made a mini golf ball and I just used a toothpick to create the holes.

But doing a mold might be quicker. I have no idea how many it will produce though.

I used white fondant and rolled into a ball then used a baller indention tool and had at it!
