I airbrushed a cake and let it dry. I added a bunch of accents. They are ON THERE FOR GOOD, buddy.
I marred the surface and can't fix it. If I try to airbrush fix it I get overspray on my accents. If I try to sponge it on there, I don't get even color.....I'm not happy.
Hoping someone smarter than me has some great idea for me....
Thanks in advance.
I dont know what the cake looks like but can you put something over the accents and respray it? If not, what about letting it dry then going over it with a brush or sponge brush? What a bummer.
Glitter? Confetti? An extra flower? Add a coupla dots?
Make a 'surround' for the air brush where it's a piece of paper or plastic that has a hole cut out where the spray can only get through the hole.
Unless it's several different colors that should work.
Agh, hum a few bars I'll think of it!!
Oh I have a great idea--I'm just being silly--sculpt a little boney finger and stick it in there like it's saying c'mere.
No I know I've been on the computer too long--humor me.
No but think about that finger---
I apologize, I cannot post a picture....my camera is having issues. Or maybe it's my computer program for the camera. Either way....
I tried to spot airbrush it and it didn't work well....mainly 'cuz I'm not so skilled with the machine, I guess.
I was able to use a blush brush to dab on the spot.....had to, of course, do the rest of the surface that way, too, so it would look intentional. Makes a nice looking textural effect. Or at least that's what I'm telling myself. (And I'm sticking to that..... )
Thanks to all of you for your suggestions. I've been stressing all night.
