We are leaving on Vacation at the end of August, and I have a client that wants a cake while I will be gone. She asked me if I could make it and if she could put it in the freezer. I have never frozen a fondant cake bfore, and I won't do buttercream. Any suggestions?

I know people who have done it, hopefully they'll chime in.

I personally wouldn't suggest you take the order.

When the cake comes out of the freezer, as it defrosts it will sweat and make the fondant look and feel gummy. Not a good idea. Stinks, but sometimes you just can't take an order.....
