When my husband's cousin got married, one of the tiers of their wedding cake was blueberry muffin. Let me tell you, it was amazing! I was out back picking blueberries earlier and which I would have stopped snarfing it down to think about what kind of frosting it had.

Has anyone here made one? If so, what did you put on top?

I have never made blueberry cake but I would think a nice buttercream would be good. I personally prefer SMBC, it is lighter IMO. I bet a nice cream cheese would be good, maybe with a touch of white chocolate?

If this cake is not for decorating you could drizzle a lemon glaze on top. That reminds me more like a muffin or pound cake... Oh, oh what about lightly sweetened whipped cream??? That would be yummy!

Just thought I would throw some ideas out there for ya'! icon_smile.gif
