I was thinking about a "Trail Mix Oatmeal Cookies."

This is what I had in mind to go in it.
raisins
chocolate chips
dried cranberries
peanuts
m&ms

Too much stuff? I know some people like a bunch of stuff in their oatmeal cookies. Should I only have one chocolate element rather than m&ms AND chocolate chips?

That sounds really good. I'd go with choc. chips and maybe walnuts or pecans to compliment the cranberries. that's just my idea. I'm sure it will be good any way you do it.

Personally, I don't like raisins!! what about mini M&Ms, instead of full size? We have a Red, White and Blue cookie that we love that might work well in the oatmeal base (dried cranberries, dried blueberries and white choc chips). Thanks for the idea!

I say try it all. You can always tweak the recipe later if you don't like it!
