Should I buy chocolate fondant to make a bow, can I make it and have it get stiff enough to hold up (I've used satinice chocolate and it was stiff, but not stiff enough to hold up in high humid weather and started 'wilting' a little prior to the wedding), can I have some recommendations? I really want this to be a beautiful, outstanding cake!

Hi, I have made bows with gumpaste or 50/50 mix of gumpaste and fondant. The one you want to use, is it chocolate paste or chocolate flavoured fondant? If its chocolate flavoured fondant, add a bit of CMC/ Tylose or even gumtex if you have, to make the fondant stiffen and dry hard. But I don't know whether you can add CMC powder to choclate paste. icon_smile.gif
