Hi, Im making a cowboy hat cake and the brim is made of fondant. Can I blowdry it to make it dry faster or will it just crack? Today is wed and I need the cake completed by sat night. Are 3 days enough time to dry it in a fairly humid climate?

Have you already made it ? If you haven't I would make it out of a 50/50 fondant , gumpaste mixture it will dry faster and harder.

Or you could add some Tylose powder to your fondant if you have some but it can be hard to find , I order it online.

I suggest you follow Jaime advice. I don't however recommend you blowdrying it because the heat might make it too soft. Try drying it in a bed of cornstarch.
