I want to make a Coach purse cake for my sister's birthday this weekend. I think I am ok with shaping and "building" the cake, but I am wondering if anyone has any tips on how to put the c's on there and have them look somewhat real. Not sure if I should paint them on or cut out and apply the fondant. Any ideas???

For my Coach cake purse, I actually went out and bought an alphabet stamp set, where the "c" looked like the Coach "c". Then I mixed a little bit of clear vanilla and brown food coloring and stamped the "c" on the purse. I have a picture of it in my pics.
