My boyfriend's sis wants me to do littlest pet shop themed cupcakes for her daughter, but I don't know how I should do them. My guess is using fondant or doing FBT, although I'm intimidated by the thought of doing them with fondant. They would have to be very detailed. Any other ways you guys can of that I can do them? I want to know what my other options might be. TIA

The only ways i can think of is do like the buttercream swirl with little fondant circles with the pets on them like these which you can handpaint on if you don't mind the work:

or you could actually hand cut the images to their exact shape and paint them but that kinna is a bit more work lol
