I'm Curious, I would like to know, how you color a Cake in Gold or Silver. How you go about doing it. Does anyone have steps. Thank You... Have a Good one icon_biggrin.gif

Hi Miasuzette

This is a spanish forum, it's difficult to answer you in english...but I will try.

First, you could dye your fondant in grey or yellow and then use a brush for the silver or gold dust.

You have to mix the dust with alcohol like vodka or lemon extract....and paint and paint...and have patient

the gold color comes in vegetable color to use with the buttercream,
I also use air brush very often to get the metallic effect.
