you make ganache and pour on the top of an iced cake thumbs_up.gif hth

You can make ganache but if you want to go the easy way--melt chocolate with shortening, pipe chocolate on the top edges until it drizzles down. Fill in the center with the chocolate mixture and smoothen with a spatula.

Remember, consistency is the key.

doesnt the heat of the coco melt the bc?

You also can take canned frosting and melt it down and pour that. I've done that for the drip look.
