I have been following the directions her on CC for the rice paper butterflies. I am making dragonflies instead for a friend who adores them. My question/worry is this... I used Ateco food color markers. Did one side, allowed to dry. Did other side...allowed to dry. The paper has "wrinkled" as if it has been oversaturated with the dye. It's all pulled in, rippled, puckered... will this even out after I apply the piping gel? Have I done something wrong so far?

I just don't want to have to do these all over again if possible...while it has been fun to this point, it has been hard, detailed work on the dragonfly wings!

Thanks in advance for any ideas!
