I just made my first one. It looks sooooooo rich and delicious. It is for a party tonight. My question is, can I take it out of the fridge now (10:30 am) and leave it out all day (in my air conditioned house) without any problems? TIA

If the filling is not a cream or mousse it will be fine! Ganache is pretty stable and you can leave it for a day orso in a cool environment.

And congratulations with your first ganache cake, still one of my fav's (only chocolate and lots of it!!! icon_biggrin.gif)

I've never had a problem with it sitting for 24 hours. If the filling isn't perishable then it's fine.

jadak, Are you going to post a picture? I would love to see what a ganache covered cake looks like.
