So I am new to cake decorating. I have taken a few wilton classes, but I need some ideas. My grandma is 88 this year and I am making her cake. The thing is, I have no idea what to do. She is a more "hip" grandma and isn't really into the traditional roses and basket weave designed cakes. She spends ALL of her time quilting or at the casino, so I was thinking maybe a casino themed cake? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! icon_smile.gif

for a wee bit more fun....

the machine can be at Patchwork Casino.

if do a cake with cards -- the images on back could be quilt patterns

if do a slot machine -- the images to match could be quilt patterns

etc.

I was thinking of doing a 3d slot machine. What do you mean by making the images to match quilt patterns? LIke the images in the window of the slot machine?
