hi all. i was wondering if any of you have ever tried to color the NFSC recipe. i want to make red cookies with white icing accents instead of trying to get red fondant. any suggestions would be a great help.

Yes, I colored the dough red before. They came out great! I used Americolor gel and added a few drops after mixing in the flour. Just be careful with the baking, you don't want them to go brown round the edges!
