I have an order with palm trees on the top, and one is leaning! Where do they get these ideas??? Anyway, I'm thinking RKT shaped into trees, some type of wire in them, gumpaste palms somehow with wire. Would it be better to cover the RKT in thin brown fondant or dip them in chocolate? Also, I wonder how to attach them to the cake itself?
Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I 
was going to use stick pretzels and make the folige with royal icing/ leaf tip and starting forming on the top side of lily nail.
