I am so confused about the doughshoe in these directions for the baby converse. Can someone please explain or maybe have a picture? TIA!

I have never made the shoe yet, but, I think that the dough "shoe" is just something that you can make to put the gumpaste shoe on to help shape it while it dries. I could be wrong, though. maybe someone else who has made them will know. hth icon_smile.gif

probably the best thing to do is to email or PM the person who posted the instructions.

You don't need any kind of former. I roll a snake of plastic wrap to support the toe of the shoe. I hold the sides for a few minutes until they stand on their own, then start adding the other pieces. I wad up a ball of paper towel to support the tongue of the shoe and help keep the sides in place while they dry.

The laces are just an illusion. I cut small strips and then gently tuck the ends into the holes. The bow and tails are separate pieces.
