I was wondering what everyone's favorite roller to roll out fondant was and where they buy it? I have been using the big white wilton one but I am thinking of trying another type. Any suggestions?

I use the blue silpat or a piece of acetate and then just various pieces of PVC for large rollouts. You can grasp and drag as opposed to actually rolling your fondant or candy clay.

My wilton teache suggested getting a 2ft section of 1 1/2 inch PVC at the hardware store and it works pretty well. I still prefer my old fashion wooden one with the handles though

I love the large Wilton roller. I've tried a Silpin with handles but it seems to pick up more grundge and has drag.

With the Wilton roller, I can pick up 20+ inches of fondant easily. Larger than that, I still roll with the Wilton, but pick up with a longer piece of PVC pipe.

I recently started using 1 1/2 inch PVC pipe and find it works great. I use less effort than with the Wilton roller.
