I need a recipe for fondant that doesn't end up all greasy. I want to make 100% homemade cakes so I need a recipe for fondant. I pulled one off of recipe.com but it was horrible and I have to keep putting ti inthe freezer to get it to harden up. The more powdered suger I added to it just made it dry and crumbly.

Please help!!!

I have used this one:

1 package of mini marshmellows
3 tbs water
melt in 30 sec intervels, mix well (don't over melt)
dump on counter top covered with shortening, start mixing in 1 1/2 lbs powder sugar
(more or less depending on your prefrence).
Make sure to have shortening on hands so it doesn'tstick to them.
let set overnight wrapped in cling wrap and air tight container.
has worked well for me so far. I also just like how simple it is.

In that recipe it calls for cream. Is that heavy cream?
