Aaahhh!!!! Sticky Fondant....help!!

So.....I put my cake in the fridge because it has been humid here and I don't have central air. Well now that it is out and I am adding the final touches my fondant is really sticky. How can I fix this? The cake is due in 4 hours!!

Once the condensation dries it should be fine. You could blow a fan toward it to help move the air. I have a ceiling fan in my kitchen that helps, and we get a lot of humidity in Virginia Beach!

I agree - try not to touch it, or it will leave marks.

If there are any marks on the cake once it has dried, rub the spots gently with a bit of powdered sugar on your hand and then brush off. This takes away shine and some rough spots that you don't want.
