What Do This Cake Need?

Its 6in for the b.day boy. His name is Patrick and he is turning 2. There will be a larger cake for the rest of the guest. What should it say and in fondant or in icing? What color? BTW I HATE freehanding on a cake. My writing sux! Plz help.

If it is just a smash cake, I'd do a big '2' in the center and maybe his name on the side in fondant letters. As for colors, I'd try to compliment the birthday theme and if there is no theme, I'd do dark blue on light blue or blue and yellow for a boy.

Yup - agree with rharris...just do a big #2 on there...if the child's name is on the big cake, you don't really need a name on there...JMO! icon_smile.gif That's what I did on my Elmo cake...
