I have to make some people out of fondant and will need to paint on the clothes and face. What is the best way and what do I use. thanks, Sandy

Food coloring gel. You can dillute it in vodka or extracts for a thinner consistency.

I use colouring pastes and dilute with clear alcohol, and for colour on cheeks I use dusting powder, which can also be mixed with alcohol and oil and use to paint.
