Help, Need Ideas On Center Support

Hi all,

Anyone have an idea for this one...
I need to have a 4 tiered cake, the 3 bottom tiers will be stacked. The top tier needs to be about 5 inches above the 3 bottom tiers, with just a support in the middle (so that I can put flower stems around it and it will look like the top tier is being held up by the flower stems only). Anyone know of a easy way to have a support like this that will hold the top tier?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I usually get my stands/supports custom made by my father so I can adjust things the way I want it to be.

Google crystal splendor cake stand components - they sell individual plates and center supports that you can use to achieve that look at reasonable prices. Several companies sell this line....
