How do I make my frosting pearlized? The pictures I am specifically looking at appear to buttercream or roayal icing. I love the look and would like to incorprate it into a cake I am making for this Wednesday. Is this just pearl dust? Any advice?

Spray your finished cake with pearl spray. Use your airbrush or the edible paint also comes in a can, made by PME.

If you don't have an airbrush or pearl spray, you can also use some pearl dust...the wilton dust that you can get at Michaels works just fine. For buttercream, brush it on with a dry brush after the frosting has crusted. For royal icing, mix the dust with a bit of vodka or clear vanilla extract and paint it on.
