Any ideas how to create a filling out of melted ice cream?

I'm in love with the new marzipan ben and jerry's. It would be so good with WASC cake and maybe fresh cherries or something....any ideas???

TIA!

I'd have to see the ingredient list, but you might be able to make it into a mousse.

Ice cream, at it's core, is a creme anglaise--although most commercial ice creams use emulsifiers and stabilizers instead of eggs, so it may not be a true anglaise. But either way it can be used as the base as a mousse or a bavaroise, but it might take a little experimentation to get the amounts right.
