Help....I made the homemade mmf and need to make a bow for Thursday, I made the pieces for it last night and this morning they were still really really soft...how long does it usually take for them to harden??

A couple days but they will still absorb moisture from the air and from the cake if iced in BC and will soften up a little. Try putting it infront of a little clean(not dusty) fan to speed up the dry time.
