The class starts tonight at 6p and the education coordinator hasn't returned my call yet so I can see if I can even enroll. In the hopes that I can, I need to know what we might have to bring to this first class in the way of actual cake or icing. Any instructors know?

I thought all the Michaals did away with their even coordinators? Hmmm.

Anyway, try calling customer service as they usually handle the sign ups.

No cake for this class until the last night of class.

I would not buy or commit to anything until you have heard back from the instructor.

You may find the class at another location, date and time.

Dont know why she has not called you back, but I am sure you will get into the class just not the one happening this evening.

Good luck with it and have fun.

Michaels doesn't have ECs any more, though the one at my store still works at the store and does help out in the same ways she did.

Call the store again. Sometimes the cashiers don't know the answers or don't bother to find them. It totally sucks, but it happens. Ask if the class has made. At Michaels we do have to have 4 people signed up to run a class or have permission ahead of time for the store manager. If they can't answer that question ask for the WMIs phone number. If they won't give it to you, then ask to talk to a manager. Explain to them what you are trying to figure out and that if you can't get the information you need you will be going to another store for the classes.

I hope you can get the information you need from them.

Just leaving messages at the store doesn't always work. There are times when I am not at the store for 5-6 days or am not there right before a class starts to get hand written messages. Or they put a message for me in the sign up book and it is not a place I look every time I am in the store.
