Last year he went and the kids (they are triplets) decorated them for their guests. They looked awful because I initially thought a shop did them but then it was announced that the 3 little ones decorated them on their own and they were suddenly the cutest things in my eyes.

My son though was like "mom didn't bake them, I don't want one".

I can't wait to see if the kids decorated them again this year and if so how their mad cupcake skills improved since last year. I think I am more excited for this party than my son is.

I am sorry that you don't get to watch them do it. Usually kids start their art piece, get something really great and don't know when to stop! They end up with what Tim Gunn from Project Runway calls "a lot of look" but if you see the whole process-awesome.
