Hi all! I have some questions about frill cutters... I've never used them but love the look that it gives a cake. To anyone that uses them: What make do you use? Do you like them? Where can you get them in Canada? Do you have any pictures of cakes showing what you can do with them? Do you use fondant or do you have to use gumpaste, or either? Thanks so much!
I'd like to know too...I was just looking into buying some and was looking at the FMM Straight Frill cutters (sets 1-4 and 9-12 were what I was looking to buy). I like them because each set comes with 4 different cutters.
The_Sugar_Fairy - there are tons of places to order them online. They even have them on Ebay, if that helps.
I would like to know the answer to that question too, because I have bought all 3 sets, from Sugarshacks website. And they are pretty reasonable, $7.00 each but have not used them yet, but I also pre-ordered the topsy turvy DVD, and you do use them on that cake, so I am waiting to see but would still like to see others, because that cake is only using set 3 that still leaves me with sets 1and 2.
Somehwere on here there is another thread about this and i show a few cakes using them. i will see if i can find the link.
