I want to start doing 3-d figures but dont know where to start. I have worked some with fondant but not gumpaste. How did everyone start? Is it easier with books, videos or hands on? What books or videos do you recommend?

Thanks,
Cecilia

Lorraine is awesome - here is her website
http://extra-icing.blogspot.com/

she has 6 tutorials you can purchase which are not expensive at all plus if you google aine2 she has free youtube and other videos for some bears, lambs and several others figures as well. She is great - she tours around England, the US, etc sometimes with the Debbie Brown and has classes but those you have to travel to and they are several hundred dollars. If you are just starting out this is the way to go.

Go to the hobby store and look at the books in the clay sculpting aisle icon_smile.gif
