shelly i love the pic frame. wish i would have thought of that. and the spidy one maimai is too adorable, lol.

here's mine. i really like the idea customer came up with. i threw the cap in for free so i could experiment with candy melts and a cookie filling recipe. wasn't too impressed with the hat but the books turned out pretty good.

I'm a hobby baker, and did 3 cakes this weekend. That's the most I ever took on at one time. It went much smoother than expected....but still I'm exhausted!

I made this for my sister in laws graduation....she's moving to L.A.

It could have been better but I was in a time crunch...next time I make one of these I'll know what to do to improve it.

Hmmm.. Well mine pales in comparison to everyones gorgeous cakes but I felt pretty good about it when I finished. The wrinkle in the grad cap was supposed to be in the back. OOPS!!! This is my first book, hat and shoe. I've also just learned that there are templates and things to dry the shoe one. I think I should invest. :/

Here it is! My first grad cake.

Holy cow, cakeheart! Who wouldn't love that chocolate overload cake? I've been sitting here trying to think of something different for my son's graduation open house - I think I may borrow some of your ideas. Thanks! thumbs_up.gif

I hope I did this right Thank You all for the help. Mom didn't want the traditional school grad cake, I was so happy how this turned out. Out of all of the cakes I did this weekend this was my favorite.
