I need help with a mint frosting recipe to decorate a cake with. I started out doing gourmet cupcakes but it has quickly turned into people asking for deocated cakes. My list of flavors has left me with a problem on my current cake order. I am doing a tree stump style cake but the customer wants a mint frosting. My current recipe is a fluffy type for a cupcake, not for decorating a cake. Can I use my regular bc recipe and just use mint flavoring? I need something stiff enough to pipe flowers and such, and one I can color. Any suggestions are appreciated.
~Thanks so much~

My fave bc is indydebi's crusting BC.....I would definatly recomend that one!!! Then just use mint I would probably do half mint half vanilla so it's not too overpowering since mint is such a strong flavour.

Here is the link....
