Ok, so I know this has been discussed on NUMEROUS threads but I've been sitting here for hours and it's overwhelming (not to mention I can't get the answer I am looking for).

I need to make a Strawberry cake but I have never made one. I would like something that doesn't taste too artificial (can either be boxed or scratch) and I would also like to pair it with either a cream cheese icing (non perishable version that is not overly sweet) or a White chocolate filling. Can anyone help me by sharing their best strawberry recipe that doesn't taste too artificial and either a not too sweet cream cheese icing filling or white chocolate filling that I can use to fill and coat with (the cake will be crumb coated and then covered with fondant.
