Can someone help me find a tutorial on how to make a RI transfer? I am going to make an Elmo coming out of the top of the cake for my daughter's first birthday and I have never done a RI transfer. Do they break easy?? Any tips?? Thanks!!

Yes, they do break easily. But you could make them thicker doing some layers so it would be a 2D and stronger.

I started with print of the picture, put wax paper on the top and tape it securely. Start with the outline using medium stiff RI, then fill in using thinner RI.
But I think your Elmo is best done in medium stiff RI, so it looks like his fur.
Put under the lamp.

I would do 2 Elmo at least. It will be rather difficult to get real red Elmo, maybe you better use powder colour instead of gel. You will need plenty red colour to get that Elmo red. HTH.
