I am making NFSC and royal icing right now. I need orange icing but dont have any or red for that matter. Our walmart is not selling colors now so I am about out of everything. Can I make an orange out of copper?

I would think the copper has a lot of brown in it. You could try a small test to see what you end up with. Sorry I couldn't be much help!

The copper has pink tones to it if it's the Wilton one. If you've got golden yellow, a lot of that will look like orange.

I am assuming you meant your walmart is not selling paste colors right now? If not paste try the spice isle and go with the mccormick etc. liquid food colors. Just make sure to use a little less liquid in your icing as you may need quite a few drops to acheive your desired color. I have also used pink though. It gives kind of a coral orange.
