So, as the date quickly approaches, it's been suggested I make a red velvet cake with a great chocolate filling, ice in white and decorate in blue...red, white and blue school colors theme.

Not positive I'm going to do that, but I need to nail this thing down! I'm a slow worker without many hours that I can do this. I'm looking at MacsMom's red velvet recipe and trying to decide how to convert it to 2 9x13 pans and trying to decide what type of filling to use, etc.

As I'm laughing to myself, any more ideas???
