Can I Add White Chocolate To Already Made Buttecream?

I would like to know if you can add white chocolate to buttecream icing that I have already made?

yes. since you add it at the end anyway.. just rebeat your buttercream. then add the melted cool chocoate and beat on low for a couple of minutes.. hth

OK, I have had recent experience with this one and can help. Be careful that your buttercream is at room temp and the choc just slightly warmer, and then you can combine. Otherwise you will get white chocolate lumps in your bcream and that is such a pain! Now, when I make white choc buttercream (I make IMBC) I add the chocolate to my egg white/sugar syrup meringue when it is slightly warm, before adding my butter and it is silky smooth!
