Has anyone got any advice about decorating a coffee cake for a wedding? Can you get flavoured royal icing or would I be able to make my own with coffee flavour?

Will coffee cake be strong enough to support tiers?

Any advice is much appreciated

Thanks,

Lou

Hi and Welcome to CC, LoubyLou98. icon_smile.gif

Decoding CC acronyms:

Everything you need to know to make, decorate and assemble tiered/stacked/layer cakes:

Any cake can be tiered or stacked.. The cake layers/tiers DO NOT support anything but their decorations - the cake support system holds the cake layers and support the upper cake tiers.

There's a link to illustrated common cake support systems with complete directions in the above thread. Also check out Leahs post on SPS.

Don't know that I'd use R/I...
