I was getting supplies @ our cake store & this Lady asked if I had ever used Rolled BC? Told her I had not but it sounded easy? How do you do it? Anybody use it.I have my DG BD cake next week & that sounds like it would make the barbie cake easier?? icon_biggrin.gif

I would not recommend it for a barbie cake... Rolled buttercream is greasier than fondant and wants to slip. It takes just as much practice to work with it as it does when one starts using fondant. It does taste good; however. One can always combine 50/50 fondant and rolled buttercream as an alternative to straight fondant.
