I am making my first decorated carrot cake tonight. I am trying to figure out the best way to make small carrots on top. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I would especially like to know what tip people use when making the carrots.

Thanks in advance for your help.

If you're piping, I would say one of the medium sized round tips. If you squeezed and staggered your drawing away movement, you could get the little knobby ridges that carrots sometimes have...that is probably as clear as mud.
