Ribbon On Cakes....

In a couple weeks i am making a three tier cake and they want ribbon tied around each tier i was wondering how do you put the ribbon on without there being a seam or at least so its not noticeable? my first three tier cake and first time using ribbon help....thanks

I "glue" the ribbon at the back of the cake with BC. I also "grease" the ribbon with cooking spray before putting on a BC cake, so there won't be any grease spots on the ribbon. HTH

If you are putting a bow that would cover the ribbon then put the seam right where the bow will be and it will look seamless all the way around, if not putting a bow then put the seam in the back like kerri729 said.
