hi everyone =)

i've seen a thread like this before and never read it. now, i'm going to make 9 luau themed cakes and the searh engine wont help me...

can any body help me find that thread? or maybe can share tips and suggestions on how to have a neat palm tree and not time consuming to make. this is my first time to make on so any tips will be very much welcome =)

btw, the cakes are due on may18, so i'm planning to make the accents this week...

well, you can use pretzel rods for the trunks and pipe the tops with a large leaf tip and green royal icing.

Or you can roll a log of brown fondant/gumpaste mix to form the trunk, and cut the leaves out of green paste. to attach to the top
