How long do you think a mud cake covered in buttercream would last unrefrigerated?

Thanks

I don't know what is in a mud cake, but I leave butter cream cakes on the counter for several days and have never had a problem...... I think most people do, unless the family eats an entire cake in one setting.....

I have left my buttercream cakes out for up to a week (but usually hubby eats them before then). I would never do any longer than that though.
