How Long Does A Fondant Covered Cake Last?

I made my wilton course three final cake last night and was wondering how long a fondant covered cake will last uncut? it is a wasc cake with wilton buttercream recipe with shortening. I want to maybe wait till sunday.

I have made fondant cakes that have lasted up to about 3-4 days at room temp and 5-6 days if refrigerated.

ive had 5 days on the counter, it was still as good as new.

would you leave the cake just open? or would you wrap the cake or cover it with saran wrap or something like that?

i woultnt leave it uncovered, dust and accidents and things, plus the fondant would start to set. ive had it in a cake tin, tinfoil, cellophane and clingfilm, it all seems to work well.
