Here I am sitting at my work desk (non-cake related ) and I swear I smell cake and buttercream. I have noticed that even if I have not made a cake in weeks - I still suddenly smell it. Fondant will stay in my nose for many days...that I understand.

Do you think I have a baker ghost haunting me ? That would explain my need to knead. Sorry..lol

Way back when I was in my teens (late 80's), The Body Shoppe use to carry fragrance oils. I loved the vanilla bean one, used to wear it all the time. When I met my DH, I was wearing the vanilla and he said "mmmmm, you smell like cake". The way to a man's heart is thru his stomach.
