I have my first wedding cake order. The bride wants a 2 tier with light pink roses and "light blue" on it. I'm not a very creative person, or artsy for that matter...but light blue and pink?? I really don't see how that will look wedding cake at all. I think of baby shower. Any suggestions on how I can incorporate these colors. Will be a 10" with 6" seperated tier.
Maybe do a blue ribbon around the base of each tier or make the fondant or icing (whichever you are using) a really pale blue?
Here's some pics with those colours in it:

HTH!
Thanks so much. I now have some ideas to work with. She is kind of a tom-boy, so I'll go very basic. I love the technology of the internet.
