Hey everyone,

what flavor goes with red velvet cake the best? I don't remember what it tastes like. I was just going to use vanilla but was wondering what else goes great with it?

You can go the traditional route and put cream cheese frosting. Personally, I love fudge with red velvet.

I think that the classic combo would be cream cheese, there is a good decoraters cream cheese icing in the recipe section.

Red velvet has to have cream cheese. It's my favorite cake but buttercream ruins it.
