I have read to use Vodka or clear vanilla extract with luster dust...could I use any clear liquor though? I ask bc I have some Bicardi O here already and had the thought. Thanks!!!

you could def use rum. Ive always used whatever I had in the house. One week I even used amaretto (not clear) for all my luster dust stuff and it didnt change the color or anything.

I've used bacardi in an emergency (and hynotic, buttershots, and tequila)- but it does dry a little different than everclear or vodka- it has an oilyness or something to it. It does not mix quite the same- so you might want to work in thinner coats.... However it doesn't hurt the taste at all...
