Im making a cake for my best friend's birthday on Saturday. She is kind of a funky girl so I was thinking a fondant cake with bold colored stripes and a fondant looped bow on top.

Teal and pink came to mind, but I would like at least one or two other colors....OR any other bright, modern color scheme you think would be appropriate for a crazy 25 year old (ok, if you think teenager that might even be better, lol)

Im just not sure Im that great at choosing color schemes. Help?

I'd be tempted to throw in some purple!

teal pink and purple would be nice. Oh man, you know what? I might have to open up my paint program and paint some colors together and see what they look like.

I am doing one for this weekend and am using hot pink, orange, neon yellow, lime green and purple. Those go together well. The pink, green and yellow look great too!

Hey guys, I did some searching on the internet and thought this might be a good reference link for color schemes.

There are a TON of color schemes on this page. So if you stuck on ideas for color matches, try this!
