I have one oven and I can only bake 2 cakes (depending on the size) at one time. Sometimes I have more cakes that need to be baked with that same batter I mixed, but I have to wait until those cakes are done. Should I store my batter in the fridge while I wait for my first cakes to bake? Or are they okay to sit on the counter? Hope this makes sense.

Thanks!!

I read some post yesterday and most of the responses were you can put batter in fridge orl eave it on the counter (covered) I even saw a few that said they leave it in the fridge overnight. I hope that helps.

I have the same problem as you. I usually just leave my batter on the counter covered and haven't had a problem. I think you can put it in the fridge as well.

You can leave it out on the counter for a few hours and it will be fine.

Great. I have done both but wasn't sure which one was the correct way.

Thank you!!
